A man has been arrested after assaulting a staff member at a university bar in Corner Brook.
RNC were called to Memorial’s Grenfell Campus early Sunday morning after an assault at the Backlot bar.
The staff member was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived but was located by police shortly after.
The 24-year-old man, who was unknown to staff, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
He was released to appear in court at a later date.
