St. John’s Improv is celebrating one year of their flagship show this coming weekend.
Jam Jams Jam features a rotation of improvisors making up scenes on the spot, inspired by music of a specific theme.
In the last half of the show, audience members who put their names in a bucket will have the chance to get on stage with some of the performers.
Improvist Rayanne Langdon says over 100 audience members have joined them on stage over the last year.
She says they see a mix of audience members hoping to come on stage, from students of the game who are hoping to get on stage with some more experienced performers, to people who are looking to try something new.
Langdon says there are some people who are nervous about getting up and trying it but they let them know that the performers have got their back. They tell audience members that they are going to make sure they look good and to have fun with it.
The Jam Jams Jam one year anniversary show is taking place at The Hub on Merrymeeting Road in St. John’s this Saturday at 8 p.m.
