The lineup for this year’s Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival was revealed on Wednesday.
The 47th edition, set for July 7 to July 9 in Bannerman Park, will feature acts from the U.S. to the Yukon and everywhere in between.
Folk Arts Society president Anna Brophy noted it’s the second year the festival will be held earlier than usual.

She also stressed the importance of corporate partnerships and major sponsors such as Equinor Canada.
The company’s local director, Tore Loseth, says they’re proud to be part of such a significant event.
He says, having recently moved to Newfoundland, he’s already witnessed the pride for history, culture and heritage, noting the festival is clearly an integral part of keeping that alive in the province.
Some of the acts on the weekend bill include Kelly Loder, Amelia Curran, Rum Ragged and the Silver Wolf Band.
