The Newfoundland Growlers did all the damage in the first eight minutes with three goals to advance to the next round.
They shut out the Adirondack Thunder before a big crowd at the Mary Brown’s Centre on Sunday to take the series in five games.
The Growlers now face the Reading Royals in a rematch of last year’s North Division final.
