The East Coast Trail Association has unveiled a series of new signs that will be installed along the 336 km of trailway between Topsail Beach in CBS and Renews-Cappahayden on the Southern Shore.

The signs will help guide hikers from the highway to the trailhead and make the trails more visible to people who have never hiked them before.

Fathom Studios designed the signs which were made by New Century Signs and installed by Leaman’s.

The East Coast Trail Association has also announced the start of a new project to enhance the 15 km Stiles Cove Path between Pouch Cove and Flatrock.

It’s part of a larger tail improvement project started last year that includes Tinkers Point, Bear Cove Point and Island Meadows paths.
