For the first time in 14 years, Newfoundland and Labrador will be hosting the Southeastern United States-Canadian Provinces conference this summer.
The alliance was established in 2007 to enhance trade and investment, promote business partnerships, and encourage technological and scientific exchanges.
The other member provinces are New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Quebec, while the states include Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
The conference is expected to bring over 250 people to the province. Activities will include panel discussions, keynote addresses, and site tours.
The event will take place from July 23 to the 25.
