The province has announced the winners of the 2023 Premier’s Awards and Minister of Education Awards for teaching excellence.
Fifteen teachers from across the province were recognized for their work in encouraging students in achieving both academic and personal success while improving the school community as a whole.
The winners will receive their awards at a ceremony set for this fall.
The 2023 Premier’s Award recipients are:
Wendy Marsh, Peacock Primary, Happy Valley-Goose Bay;
Brigitte White, École C.C. Loughlin School, Corner Brook ;
Joanne Broders, Smallwood Academy, Gambo;
Denise Hogan, Carbonear Collegiate, Carbonear;
Peter Constantine, Paradise Elementary, Paradise; and
Yvonne Dawe, Centre for Distance Learning and Innovation, St. John’s.
2023 Minister of Education’s Award recipients:
