Officers with the RNC, RCMP, and Highway Enforcement teamed up this week to issue a number of tickets during a traffic checkpoint on the Trans Canada Highway.
Thirty tickets were issued for violations such as insecure cargo, driving without insurance and registration, defective equipment, and not wearing a seatbelt.
Two vehicles were seized and several notices were issued for mandatory vehicle inspections.
