More updates on urgent and emergency care services at a couple of health centres.
The U.S. Memorial Health Centre in St. Lawrence will be without emergency services for a full week—from 8 a.m. today, until 8 a.m. the following Monday, July 31.
Meanwhile, there’s also an update to the hours for urgent services at the Dr. William H. Newhook Community Health Centre in Whitbourne this coming week.
Urgent care will be available on both Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a limited number of same-day appointments that can be made by phone or by walking in—if able—all on a first-come, first served basis.
