Six adults have been displaced by a fire in St. John’s yesterday morning.

First responders were called to Patrick Street at about 4:30 a.m. to a fire at a three storey building. The first level of the building contained a business, while the upper levels were apartments.

One man had to be taken to hospital as a result.

The Red Cross has arranged emergency lodging and purchases for those affected.
