The by-election in the City of St. John’s is only a little over a week away and all four candidates will be in the same room this week.

Ward Four was left vacant when Councillor Ian Froude resigned. Running to replace him are Tom Davis, Nicholas Hillier, Myles Russell and Greg Smith.

By-election day is next Tuesday, March 12.

Happy City St. John’s has organized a one-hour discussion among the candidates to be moderated by Dr. Elizabeth Schwartz of Memorial University.

David Brake, co-chair of Happy City, says anybody interested in listening in can do so.

The discussion will be posted on Happy City’s website so that people can view the responses to questions which were posed to them.
