The City of St. John’s has approved its $36 million capital budget for 2025.
This year’s spending will focus on improvements to transportation, street and sidewalk repair and rehabilitation, water projects and snow clearing equipment among other things.
$7.5 million is set aside for fleet acquisition, $2.6 million is earmarked for snow clearing, traffic calming and other safety initiatives, while $2.2 million has been identified for parks and open spaces.
