Operations remain suspended at the Newfoundland Transshipment Terminal at Whiffen Head in Placentia Bay after a tanker came into contact with the jetty last week.
Newfoundland Transshipment President Paul Durdle says operations are on hold while inspections using drones and remote-operated vehicles are carried out.
Engineering support has been called in to help develop a repair plan.
An investigation into the incident is being led Transport Canada.
