March is Easter Seals Month across Newfoundland and Labrador.
The month, which recognizes and promotes the work of Easter Seals, kicked off at Government House in St. John’s on Thursday.
At the event, the organization named 14-year-old Rhea Stark as their 2025 ambassador, and recognized last year’s ambassador Andrew Woodrow by presenting him with the Fraser Edison Easter Seals Ambassador Trust Fund Scholarship.
The organization also unveiled their 2025 framed seals, and revealed a focus on accessibility in sport and recreation by aligning with the province’s Year of Sport initiative.
