Police were looking for an impaired driver but instead they caught a person who owed a small fortune in fines.
RNC were scouring the east end of St. john’s after calls of a possible impaired driver went in to headquarters, but the 50-year-old woman they pulled over was not impaired. However, she did owe $18,000 in fines and had already been prohibited from driving.
She was taken to the lockup for a court appearance.
