A woman who owes nearly $40,000 in tickets is scheduled to appear before a judge.

The 43-year-old was pulled over in the west end of St. John’s just before 10:00 last night.

When officers ran the ID, it was determined she owed thousands in tickets and had a suspended driver’s license.

Additionally, the woman was found to be driving under the influence, blowing a “warning” on the breathalyzer.

Her vehicle has since been impounded, and she will see a judge at a later date.
