The manufacturing division of the Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation is a success story with only good things on the horizon says the president and CEO of the company.
Sales of spirits were down this past fiscal year but on par for ready-to-drink beverages.
Rock Spirits make products such as vodka and rum. It has a five-year agreement with Globefill Incorporated to continue the production of Crystal Head Vodka products in the province, and a three-year arrangement with Atlantic Spirits and Wine to represent Rock in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Liquor corporation boss Bruce Keating says their manufacturing arm will be expanding its line with the launch of a new ready-to-drink, Screech Creamsicle.
The corporation has signed a five-year agreement with the Newfoundland Distillery Company in Clarke’s Beach, something Keating says can bring only good things.
