Midnight tonight is the final deadline to purchase tickets for the Health Care Foundation’s Hospital Home Lottery.
The grand prize show home, valued at $1.3 million is up for grabs, along with a long list of prizes.
Health Care Foundation CEO Paul Snow says proceeds from the tickets will go towards new medical equipment for the province.
“The Da Vinci Surgical Assisted Robotic System is next generation,” says Snow, “it is the highest-level standard of care in surgery…and we’re bringing it to Newfoundland and Labrador.” He calls the surgeon-controlled technology “remarkable”.
