A man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for sexual offences has been sent back to Ontario after his arrest in Clarenville.
RCMP say 61-year-old Jeff Laing, who was wanted in Ontario, was arrested at a home in the community on Sunday.
He was wanted on charges of sexual assault, sexual interference, failing to attend court, and breaches of a court order.
Laing was taken to St. John’s where he was transferred over to the Peel Regional Police Service for transport back to Ontario.
