An 18-year-old who didn’t have a driver’s licence was ticketed as the result of a rollover crash on the highway in Point Leamington earlier this week.
Police were called to the scene around 6:30 Monday evening. The four occupants of the vehicle had fled the scene before police arrived, and were picked up by another driver.
They were pulled over by police a short time later and were assessed by paramedics.
The 18-year-old driver was ticketed for driving without a driver’s licence and failing to remain at the scene of a crash. The vehicle was seized and impounded.
