NAV Canada says service is back to normal following bomb threats made against a number of airports across the country.
Evacuations were ordered at a number of sites, and flights were temporarily grounded at Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver.
The St. John’s International Airport Authority says it has not experienced any known threats, but anyone with scheduled flight plans for today is asked to check with their carriers.
NAV Canada says it cannot disclose the specific nature of the threat, however it is working closely with authorities as the investigation continues.

VOCM News is aware of potential flight disruptions at some major Canadian airports as the result of an apparent security threat.
NAV CANADA issued a statement this morning indicating that it was made aware of bomb threats affecting facilities in Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver.
A temporary “ground stop” was implemented at the affected airports.
