The provincial government is touting the creation of some 631 childcare spaces on the Avalon Peninsula.
The new spaces come from 27 new childcare centres that are either open, or will open in the coming months.
Government made the announcement at Dream with Us child care centre in CBS, which recently opened with 56 child care spaces.
Government says there are currently over 11,200 childcare spaces operating in the province under the $10-a-day program.
