RNC is investigating after a woman was attacked by a man on a walking trail near Quidi Vidi Lake.

Police say the woman was injured after a man, who was unknown to her, assaulted her on Virginia River Trail around 9:00 yesterday morning.

The suspect is described as 20 to 30 years old, at least 5’9” tall, wearing a blue and white bike helmet and a brown “Metal Mulisha” T-shirt. He was last seen near The Boulevard.

Police are asking for video or dash cam footage from the area between 8:30 and 9:45 a.m. and have increased patrols in the area.
