Two people have been arrested and charged after police allege gunshots were fired from inside a vehicle in Paradise.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. last night on Carlisle Drive after reports that gunshots were fired from a vehicle that had fled the scene.
When police arrived they found some minor property damage. There were no injuries.
The RNC says “within minutes” the suspect vehicle was located on Topsail Road, and a 9mm handgun was located.
Three people were taken into custody. One was released without any charges.
Now, a passenger in the vehicle, 25-year-old Coady Careen, is facing a slew of firearms offences in relation to the incident.
As well, the driver, 24-year-old Noah Waterman, has been charged with two counts of mischief by damaging property, criminal harassment, and impaired.
Police say this was a targeted incident and the investigation is ongoing.
