Two people were arrested and an RNC officer was hurt after a bit of a chaotic traffic stop last night.

Metro police hauled the car over around 10:40. When the vehicle came to a stop, several people hopped out and tried to get away on foot.

Officers arrested a 35-year-old man who was already on the RNC’s wanted list for possessing a controlled substance, being unlawfully at large and resisting arrest.

A boy was also arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of breach of probation.

Both were held for court.

An officer who was injured during the ordeal was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been released.
