One of the biggest tickets of the summer concert season is about to get underway.

The Churchill Park Music Festival kicks off tomorrow with headliners Def Leppard, and Canadian acts the Sam Roberts Band, Honeymoon Suite and Haywire.

The gates open at 4:00 tomorrow with the first band hitting the stage at 5:00.

Pete Quinton of Mighty Quinton Concerts says tickets are still available for all four nights, but they’re going fast.

“Most shows are very close to selling out, particularly Def Leppard, and The Killers and the other shows are very, very strong.”

Chairs are welcome this year, but Quinton advises that people consider the belongings they choose to bring carefully, because bags will be checked at the gate.

“Come prepared,” says Quinton, “we will be doing some metal lining at the doors, so…don’t bring anything that you don’t want confiscated at the gate.”
