A 54-year-old man has been charged following a stabbing at a home in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Friday.
The RCMP were first notified of the incident around 5:00 p.m. , and went to the hospital to meet with the victim, who was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the accused, Anthony Absalom, presented himself to officers at the local RCMP detachment and was arrested without incident.
Absalom and the victim are known to each other.
He has been charged with uttering threats and appeared in court today.
The investigation is continuing.
