Former Premier Dwight Ball has been appointed ac Chair of the board of directors of the Canada Development Investment Corporation.
Federal Finance Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne yesterday announced Ball’s appointment as chair of the corporation for a four-year term.
The CDEV, which was established in 1982, operates at arm’s length and provides the federal government with specialized financial advise around complex commercial interests.
It also holds a portfolio of government assets and investments.
