A 33-year-old man has been charged with stealing mail, in addition to other offences, after two break-ins in Natuashish on New Year’s Day.
RCMP were called on Monday morning following a break in at a commercial building on Pokue Street.
Police say the suspect gained access to a number of offices on January 1 and removed some laptop computers, causing damage along the way.
The investigation linked the break-in to another at the local post office on the same day.
RCMP say Nicholas Rich is now facing a charge of theft of mail, five counts of break and enter and two counts each of possessing break-in tools and disguise with intent.
