Members of the 37 Signal Regiment are conducting winter training exercises in and around Clarke’s Beach this weekend.
Approximately 20 soldiers will participate in Exercise SIBERIAN JIMMY in the Emerald Vale area. They will be carrying rifles, setting up Arctic tents and conducting simulated defensive operations with military vehicles.
Area residents will hear rifle rounds being fired, but only blank rounds are being used.
