The RNC is seeking help from the public following a serious assault in the Long’s Hill area last night.

Officers were flagged down on Long’s Hill just after 11:00 by a resident who found a man seriously injured.

The victim, who has still not been positively identified, suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

Members of the Major Crime Unit are canvassing the area today and appealing to the public for information or possible video footage from the Long’s Hill, Queen’s Road and Garrison Hill area between 9:30 and 11:00 p.m. last night.
