A 34-year-old was arrested and charged following an assault in Grand Falls-Windsor last Friday.
RCMP say a man reported that he had been assaulted by another who was known to him while he sat in his vehicle.
RCMP say the incident was isolated in nature with no risk to public safety.
The accused was released to appear in court on one count of assault.
