Eight people are the latest to be invested into the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador – the highest honour that can be bestowed in the province.
An investiture ceremony took place at Government House yesterday.
Honourees include Elaine Kirkland Huxter, Dr. John Mannion and his wife Maura Mannion, Phillip Pratt, retired Major Michael James Pretty, Mary Reid, Margaret Tibbo, and Mary Winters.
