A phone line to register with the Canadian Red Cross has been set up for Badger residents who have had to evacuate due to the risk of flood.

The provincial government says its Emergency Operations Centre remains at Level 2 and officials are actively monitoring the situation.

Residents who have been ordered to evacuate are encouraged to register with the Canadian Red Cross by calling 1-800-863-6582 and leaving a voicemail with contact information.

The Canadian Red Cross will return calls daily between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Those who need a place to stay are encouraged to show up at the Badger Community Centre on Maple Street where an emergency shelter has been set up.
