The provincial government has awarded a contract to design and build a 20 home apartment building in Corner Brook.
The contract, which is worth $9.8-million, has been awarded to Streamline Management.
The three-storey building will be constructed on Crestview Avenue.
Half of the apartments will be one bedroom, while the other half will be two.
Four of the two bedroom units will be fully accessible, and all will be built with universal design.
The building will also include an elevator.
Government says the apartment complex will be owned by NL Housing and tenants will be selected through their normal processes.
Construction is expected to start this summer, and will be completed by the end of 2027.
