It’s a lot more expensive to fill up the tank this morning.
The Public Utilities Board has pushed the price of gas up by 4.7 cents per litre.
Diesel jumps 5.6 cents on the island and 3 cents in Labrador West.
Furnace oil is up 4.8 cents. Stove oil increases by less than 2 cents.
Due to the holiday, the PUB’s next pricing adjustment will take effect on Friday.
