Testing on the water supply in Harbour Grace shows the water is safe to drink, and residents have been given the go ahead to use the water from their taps again.

Late last week the town issued a non-consumption order following work on the water line that resulted in a smell of fuel coming from residents’ taps.

Water sample testing showed nothing out of the ordinary, and normal water use can resume.
