A 60-year-old woman has been arrested after the RNC says she called 911 with numerous false complaints.

Police were called to a home in downtown St. John’s around 8:30 last night and the woman was taken into custody.

She has been charged with mischief, breach of the emergency 911 act, and resisting arrest.

The accused was held for court.
