Construction is set to begin this week on the final phase of the Kelly’s Brook shared-use path between Carpasian Road and Bannerman Road.
Kelly’s Brook Trail will remain open to pedestrians during construction, however, temporary trail detours will be necessary as the work progresses.
The work is being carried out in conjunction with annual road work and will include a portion of Empire Avenue between Carpasian Road and Rennie’s Mill Road.
Drivers and pedestrians can expect some delays and lane reductions as a result.
