A 48-year-old man has been arrested after he was found slumped over the wheel at a gas station in Goobies on Tuesday.

Police first received the call before 10:00 p.m. about a man unconscious behind the wheel of a running parked car.

The man told officers he was not in medical distress, but later failed a roadside breath test and samples at the Clarenville detachment.

His license has been suspended, his vehicle has been impounded, and he will see a judge on charges of impaired driving at a later date.
