A 29-year-old man is facing charges of dangerous driving and flight from police following an incident on the Northern Peninsula.
Port Saunders RCMP were contacted on Wednesday afternoon about a motorbike speeding and performing stunts on the main highway near Big East River.
Police found the bike in the parking lot of a local business, but when officers approached to speak with the driver, he sped away.
The driver turned himself in after police came upon the bike a while later.
He’s been charged with dangerous driving and flight from police and is scheduled to appear in court in September.
