Premier Tony Wakeham is ranked second in the country in overall approval ratings – tied with Saskatchewan’s Scott Moe at 50 per cent.
That’s according to Angus Reid’s latest Premier’s Performance Survey released this week.
The highest approval rating went to Manitoba’s Wab Kinew at 62 per cent.
Wakeham is riding a high following his election victory last fall, a benefits agreement reached on Bay du Nord, and the release of his very first budget. Approval for his performance to date is up eight ..8 points from the last survey.
Dead last among premiers is Ontario’s Doug Ford, whose approval rating plunged 10 points to 21 per cent over the last survey.
