A traffic stop in Happy Valley-Goose Bay resulted in the arrest of a Sheshatshiu man and the seizure of suspected cocaine.
RCMP pulled a vehicle over on Mud Lake Road last Thursday as part of what it calls proactive patrols in the town.
The driver and two passengers were arrested when officers noticed what appeared to be drugs inside the vehicle.
A subsequent search resulted in the seizure of suspected cocaine, pills, cash and other items.
The 40-year-old passenger was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
RCMP say further charges are possible.
