RCMP are warning drivers of high winds in the Wreckhouse area.

Winds are forecast to reach 120 km/h in the area today, creating a hazard for large and commercial vehicles.

RCMP are advising drivers to consider delaying travel until the high wind advisory ends.

Police say the highway is open, however all drivers are being asked to use caution and drive according to the conditions.
