A 20-year-old man from Sheshatshiu, who became rather feisty in the back of the police car after being picked up for impaired driving, now faces additional charges.
Police saw a vehicle Monday afternoon on a beach in the town, but the driver refused the breathalyzer.
While on the way back to the detachment, police say the man caused damage to the back of the police car.
His licence has since been suspended, his vehicle was impounded, and he will appear in court at a later date.
