It’s looking like it’s going to be a good day weather-wise across the island for Canada Day.
There is an area of high pressure to the south of the province that is driving temperatures up in the eastern and central areas, with temps in the mid-to-high 20s expected over the next couple of days.
Environment Canada meteorologist David Neil says the outlook for most areas for Canada Day is warm and sunny.
He says it is looking like a nice day for most of the island. He says the south coast will be more on the cloudy side, and some parts of central may see some pop-up showers in the afternoon.
