RCMP arrested two people for violating police-imposed conditions following a traffic stop in Deer Lake on the weekend.

Officers had pulled a vehicle over on the highway Saturday afternoon when they noticed another vehicle which was approaching the area, suddenly turning around and driving away.

Officers located and stopped the vehicle in question and discovered that the driver and passenger were prohibited in being in contact with each other as a condition of a previous arrest and release.

Forty-four-year-old Bert Gosney and 38-year-old Krystal White were arrested and charged with failure to comply with an undertaking.
