The highway near the Route 80 overpass at Whitbourne was finally cleared early this morning following what first responders called a serious crash on the Trans Canada yesterday afternoon.

At least three vehicles, including an RV, were involved in the collision.

Traffic was rerouted via the overpass for hours while first responders worked on the scene.

An update is expected later today.
