First responders are at the scene of a serious accident at a busy intersection in the capital city.

Callers to the VOCM Newsroom say a school bus was involved, and that a pedestrian may have been struck in the intersection of Allandale Road and the Parkway.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says there are multiple lane closures in the area as a result.
