A former mayor of Corner Brook will be recognized today with the dedication of a bench at one of the city’s best scenic lookouts.
Priscilla Boutcher was the west coast city’s first female mayor, serving on the city council as mayor, deputy mayor and councilor for more than two decades.
Today’s dedication ceremony will take place at 11:00 at Cook’s Lookout.
Priscilla Boutcher will join mayor Linda Chiasson for the event.
